Fr. Elijah Washington

Fr. Elijah Washington, the Executive Director of Heart-to-Heart Outreach, is a Clinical Pastoral Educator with more than 25 years of Hospice, hospital, school and Pastoral experience. He currently works as the Director of Grief Support and Bereavement services at Hospice of Michigan.

Reverend Washington’s vast experience has inspired him to establish this life-giving nondenominational outreach ministry.  He and the Heart-to-Heart Outreach welcomes people from various religious and social backgrounds. Fr Elijah believes that any kind of social or cultural discrimination in basic personal rights on the grounds of sex, race, color, social conditions, language or religion, must be curbed and eradicated as incompatible with God’s design.

He has organized and hosted a number of workshops, retreats, grief support group sessions, recollection and crusades for pastor, religious and lay prayer teams. Fr. Elijah’s programs, “God’s Grace is sufficient” aired on K-Love Radio, Detroit, focuses on Spiritual teachings and grief support.

He has also incorporated a part-time Healing/Deliverance ministry into his Outreach and began a monthly first Friday Healing Service in the Sterling Heights community. He is a very popular speaker and teacher at pro-life  and church events.
